Delhi: Sri Lanka on Tuesday announced Amul, one of India's iconic milk brands, as its sponsor for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the United States (USA) and West Indies starting from June 2. Sri Lanka will become the third team to be sponsored by Amul after South Africa and America in the upcoming ICC major tournament.

Sri Lanka Cricket said in a statement, “Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) would like to announce the appointment of Amul, a leading Indian milk producer with international presence, as the ‘Official Sponsor’ of the Sri Lanka Men’s team for the duration of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Is.”

Let us tell you that Amul has a history of sponsoring cricket teams during ICC tournaments. Earlier it had collaborated with the national teams of New Zealand and Netherlands for the 2017 Champions Trophy and 2011 Cricket World Cup respectively.
