Lucknow: India's young opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal is playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 these days and his performance during this period has been mixed. Jaiswal has also been included in the team of ICC T-20 World Cup 2024. In such a situation, everyone is worried considering his form. However, now Shami has targeted him and criticized the way he is playing. Let us tell you that the young player may have scored a century this season but apart from that, no other big innings has come from his bat. While talking on his YouTube channel, Shami has given a big statement.

He said, “I want to talk about Yashasvi Jaiswal, he seemed to be in a hurry. He hit a four on the first ball but was out while trying to play a shot on the second ball also. He scored 4 runs in two balls and then got out. I feel like they seem to be in a hurry. The kind of shots he is playing at the moment, he has no need for it. Yashasvi is in good form and has also scored a century this season. However, in this match against Delhi, he looked out of rhythm and was out early.”

If we look at Jaiswal's performance in IPL 2024, he has played 11 matches so far, in which he has scored 320 runs with an average of 32 and strike rate of 157.64. During this period, one century and one half-century have come from his bat. Last season, the left-handed batsman had scored more than 600 runs and his strike rate was also more than 160. In such a situation, just before the World Cup, he is not looking in form but he plays short innings and gets out quickly.
