Tilak Varma returned from an injury hiatus last week during India A’s T20 World Cup warm-up match against USA in Navi Mumbai.

The southpaw scored 38 off 24 balls upon return as India A won by 38 runs.

Tilak will also be playing in India’s warm-up match against South Africa on Tuesday at the DY Patil Stadium. The decision was taken to allow him as much game time as possible.

However, whether he will be in action in India A’s second practice match in Bengaluru against Namibia is still uncertain.
