Harsha Bhogle, who has often targeted him, finally heaped massive praise on the star batter. “Another 600+ season. Kohli’s form is the best news for India before the #T20WorldCup2024,” he wrote on X.
He has amassed 634 runs, with the help of 1 hundred and 5 fifties. Kohli was named in Team India’s squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He returned to T20I team affet a gap of 14 for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan but played only two T20Is.
The veteran didn’t score big and there were speculations of him missing the global tournament. According to The Telegraph, the BCCI officials and the team management were not in favour of the star batter, considering his slow batting approach.
However, Virat went on a run-scoring spree and managed to impress the selectors.
