Actually, in the video, Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is seen with his girlfriend Mahika Sharma. Both of them are seen arriving with the team, however, the rest of the players have arrived alone i.e. without any partner/family. This has surprised the fans and many questions are being raised on social media. People are asking whether Hardik is not following the rules of BCCI?

In fact, according to a recent report, BCCI had clearly refused to allow Indian players to live with their wives, fiancees or any family member during the T20 World Cup.
The Indian team management itself had sought permission from BCCI. But the board clearly rejected this proposal. In such a situation, Hardik Pandya and Mahika Sharma reaching Colombo with the team is quite shocking for the fans. Some users on social media say that this is a violation of BCCI policy. According to BCCI rules, players can't keep their girlfriends or wives with them during tournament, especially on overseas tours.

What is BCCI's policy?
According to the current policy of BCCI, on long foreign tours (more than 45 days), family members are allowed to stay together only for a maximum of 14 days.
The same rule is applicable in big tournaments like the World Cup. However, if players wish, they can make separate hotel arrangements for their families, but this cannot be included in the team's official stay or travel.
