Shah believes that the last two finals were played in England, in which India had to face defeat. So the third one also has to be played there. In such a situation, he has talked to the International Cricket Council (ICC) to make changes in the host country. Let us tell you that India has not won any ICC trophy for a long time and the final matches of WTC were played at places where India is not used to playing. In such a situation, ESPN Cricinfo has given a big update on this matter quoting Jay Shah.

He said, “For this we will have to find a window in some other country in June. Letting any other country host it is a challenging task. Shah has indicated that BCCI has talked to ICC for the new venue of the final match of the World Test Championship (WTC). The third final will be played in England only and keeping this in mind we have talked to the ICC and they will consider it.

Let us tell you that at present India's position in the points table of WTC 2025 looks strong. Team India remains at the first position in this points table and they are the biggest contenders to play the final. India is currently in first place with 68.51 point percentage. Australia is also present at the second position with 62.5 percent marks. With 50 percent marks, the New Zealand team is at third place in this points table. So Sri Lanka is present at fourth place with 50 percent marks. Now it will be interesting to see which two teams qualify for the finals.

Jay Shah's reaction regarding T-20 World Cup 2024 also came to the fore.

BCCI Secretary has confirmed that all the players of the teams that will not qualify for the playoffs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will soon go to West Indies for the T20 World Cup 2024. Those players will get a chance to practice more there and can understand the conditions there well. All the players whose teams will not be able to reach the playoffs will fly from India on 24th May, while the rest of the team will reach there after the IPL final on 26th May.
