T20 World Cup 2026: Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey left Team India, questions raised on BCCI

India has to face England in the semi-finals of T20 World Cup 2026, Team India has reached Mumbai but in the meantime, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav, all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey have left the team. A video has surfaced from Mumbai airport in which Team India players sit in the bus and Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey sit in their respective cars and go home.

All three players live in Mumbai, so instead of staying in the team hotel, they went home. However, fans are raising questions about these three going home like this.

Why did Surya-Hardik leave the team?

The big question here is why Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey left Team India before the semi-final match. These players' homes are in Mumbai so why can they stay in the team hotel? Questions are being raised on BCCI as to why this is happening? The big thing here is that if the result of the semi-finals is not in favor of Team India, then all these things will be scrapped.

Suryakumar-Hardik Pandya's form is a matter of concern

Both Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav have definitely won matches for the team in the current T20 World Cup, but their performance in the last few matches has not been anything special. Especially Hardik Pandya has proved to be very expensive in bowling. This player has given the maximum number of sixes in the current T20 World Cup. Talking about Suryakumar Yadav, he had scored unbeaten 84 runs against USA.

But after this Surya did not score a single half-century. He definitely scored more than 30 runs thrice but after being set, he threw away his wicket and went away.
