Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost by 35 runs against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 59th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday. Batting first, Gujarat team scored 231 runs in the stipulated overs. Chennai fought hard to chase the huge target of 232 runs. CSK could score only 196 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. At the same time, with this fifth win, Gujarat team has kept its chances of play-off intact. CSK's top order flopped badly in this match. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad could not even open the account. Batting for CSK, Darryl Mitchell scored the highest score of 63 runs. Apart from this, Moeen Ali played an inning of 56 runs. This is the sixth defeat of the yellow jersey team in 12 matches this season.
