Behind every cricketer fulfilling his on-field dreams, there is a huge sacrifice their family members make completely behind the scenes to help them achieve the goals. Similar is the story for all the Indian players and support staff who triumphed at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday, March 08 in Ahmedabad.

Playing in front of a crowd of over a hundred and thirty thousand, the players' eyes were always looking for the people who matter the most and those who cheered the loudest for them.

After the win, players posed with the prestigious silverware alongside their family members, making memories that would never ever fade from their minds.

Suryakumar Yadav has fetched his name into the history books with his astute leadership skills that helped India break the records at the twenty-team tournament.

To share the joy with those who don't play but pray a lot for him, Suryakumar called them on the grass and posed in front of the camera with the T20 World Cup trophy in hands.

Behind every successful man is a woman, and Tilak Varma was with his mother after the finale in Motera, as the two shared the joy and fun of holding the trophy.

Tilak's mother had a wide smile on her face and that clearly is an indication of how happy she must be for his son and the entire team that won the third title for the country.

While the batters took majority of the limelight from India's victory, it were the bowlers who made sure that the opposition did not get past the crossing line. Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj called their families onto the stage for a picture, while Tilak was also present.

Hardik Pandya has had a personal life that has been full of ups and downs. However, ever since he has met Mahieka Sharma, he seems to have found a much more stable way ahead. And that has clearly reflected on his performances in the sport. Hardik made valuable contributions of 217 runs and nine wickets in the T20 World Cup for the Indian team.

Bapu Axar Patel is a father off the field, too

Axar Patel was arguably the most clutch player for the Men in Blue in the global tournament. Playing at his home ground in the big finale, the Gujarat cricketer arrived at the centre wicket with wife and son, creating a heartwarming moment. The photographers caught the family together, but not as well as Axar did it on the field in Mumbai.

Gautam Gambhir has now become the coach with the most ICC trophies for India in a career that has been only 21 months in the making. He first led the Men in Blue to the Champions Trophy win in 2025 and then continued his merry way into the T20 World Cup as well. After the special win, Gambhir called his special members on the field and gave one for the shutterbugs.

Tilak played several impactful knocks for the Indian team throughout the marquee tournament. After the victory, he was ecstatic to pose with his family and friends with his winning medal.

Bumrah has always been vocal about the fact that his mother and wife have been the two most important people in his life. With a T20 World Cup trophy in his hand, Bumrah's mother and his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, struck a pose in front of the camera, and the raw smile on their faces looked better than any trophy to be honest.
