The 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is underway, with Gujarat Titans (GT) taking on Punjab Kings in Match No. 4 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh, on Tuesday, March 31. Both teams will be eager to replicate their last season's performance as both had successfully reached the play-offs stage in IPL 2025. 

After falling heartbreakingly short of the IPL title by just six runs last season, Shreyas Iyer’s Punjab Kings are set to reignite their quest for a maiden crown when they take on Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans in their opening match at their home venue.
