Joffra Archer breaks Shane Warne’s record, leaves Australian legend behind in this elite list of Rajasthan Royals

England’s star fast bowler Joffra Archer bowled tremendously in the first match of Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings.

With economical bowling, he took two important wickets for the team, due to which Jofra Archer has left behind Australia’s legendary spin bowler Shane Warne in the elite list of bowlers of Rajasthan Royals.

In the third match of IPL 2026, Joffra Archer did wonders with his bowling in the match between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings being played at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

In this match, Rajasthan captain Riyan Parag won the toss and decided to bowl first and the bowlers proved it right.

England’s fast bowler Joffra Archer bowled brilliantly in his spell, taking 2 wickets for just 19 runs in 4 overs.

In his very second over, he gave a big success to the team by clean bowling Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad for just 6 runs. After this he completed his second wicket by dismissing Noor Ahmed.

With these two wickets, Archer now has 59 wickets in his name for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. With this, he left behind Australia’s legendary leg spinner Shane Warne (57 wickets) and left behind the elite list of bowlers who have taken the most wickets for the team.

If we talk about the bowlers who have taken the most wickets for Rajasthan Royals, then Yuzvendra Chahal (66 wickets) is at the first place in this list, followed by Siddharth Trivedi (65 wickets) and Shane Watson (61 wickets). Now Joffra Archer has reached fourth position with 59 wickets and has left Shane Warne behind.
