Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Rajasthan Royals in Match 13 of the Indian Premier League 2026. The toss took place at 09:55 IST, with the proceedings set to start at 10:10 pm IST. The match has been reduced to 11 overs per side.
Four bowlers can bowl a maximum of two overs each, with one bowler allowed to bowl a maximum of three overs.

“We’re gonna bowl first. The pitch has been under covers, and it is best to bat second in a rain-impacted game. It is just the start of the season, and we are bound to make mistakes. It is a long tournament, and you can’t be out of it by going down in a few games and in the same way, you can’t win the tournament if you register a few victories,” Hardik Pandya said.
RR skipper Riyan Parag would have bowled first as well had he won the toss.
“We would have bowled first as well.
