The young prodigy smashed 39 runs off just 14 balls, including one four and five towering sixes, dismantling the MI bowling attack in a rain-affected contest.

Suryavanshi walked in during the second over of the match, which had been reduced to 11 overs due to rain. Facing Jasprit Bumrah for the first time, he made an immediate impact by launching his very first delivery for a massive six after Bumrah erred in length.
