Delhi: Rajasthan Royals (RR)’s explosive opener Yashasvi Jaiswal created history against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Tuesday. Jaiswal batted brilliantly against Mumbai. Jaiswal played a quick inning of 77 runs in just 32 balls. During this, he hit 10 fours and four sixes. With this he completed 100 sixes in the Indian Premier League.
Only the fourth batsman to hit 100 sixes
Jaiswal registered his name in the pages of history by hitting 100 sixes in the IPL. Jaiswal has now become only the fourth batsman in the history of IPL to hit 100 sixes while playing for Rajasthan. Earlier this feat has been done by Sanju Samson (192), Shane Watson (109) and Jos Buttler (135).
Rajasthan registered its third consecutive win with Jaiswal’s innings.
In the match against Mumbai, Rajasthan came to bat first. Due to rain, the match was played in 11 overs each. Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi came to open for Rajasthan. Both of them started batting stormy as soon as they arrived. Where Jaiswal scored unbeaten 77 runs. Whereas Vaibhav played a brilliant inning of 39 runs in just 14 balls. Due to which Rajasthan set a target of 151 runs for Mumbai. In reply, Mumbai team could score only 123 runs and lost the match by 27 runs. This was Rajasthan’s third win in a row this season. With this Rajasthan reached the top of the points table.

Rajasthan is sitting on the top of the table with six points from three matches. Now Rajasthan’s next match will be on 10th April. Where it will face last year’s champion Royal Challengers Bangalore.
