Let us tell you that despite the defeat against Punjab, there is no danger of Rajasthan going to the playoffs. However, now it may be difficult for them to finish in the top-2 because Sunrisers Hyderabad can still reach 18 points. RR has already qualified for the playoffs and is currently placed second in the points table. While talking in the post match presentation after the defeat against Punjab, Sanju has given a big statement.

He said, “We have to sit back and accept the fact that we are going through continuous failures at this time. We have lost 4 consecutive matches and that is why we need to find out what is not working for us. Everyone has to step up and we have a lot of match-winning players in our team. This is the time when we need to show our character.”

Sanju further said, “We needed to score a little more runs and I think 160-170 would have been a good score here. This season we are not used to playing on those wickets where 200 runs are easily scored. We needed to play smart cricket today and build a partnership. Hopefully the results of the upcoming matches will be in our favor.”
