Digvesh Rathi’s catch to dismiss Finn Allen has raised doubts over the cleanliness of the take during Kolkata Knight Riders match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday.

Allen was caught at the deep third region when Rathi grabbed a high catch very close to the boundary rope.

However, despite the closeness of LSG fielder’s foot to the rope, Allen was adjudged out without an elaborate check regarding the cleanliness of the catch.

The replays later, however, suggested that Rathi’s left foot might have been touching the rope slightly and hence Allen’s dismissal was not a straightforward one.

Allen was dismissed in the second over of the innings off Prince Yadav’s delivery after scoring nine off eight balls with the help of two fours.
