Lucknow: Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has vented his anger on the players of England. Actually, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is currently being played and the English players have left it midway and returned home. Their doing so has dealt a big blow to the teams because their team composition has deteriorated and at present the playoff matches are yet to be played. In such a situation, no player from England will be seen playing in the knockout stage. Pathan has turned red with anger at this action of the English players.

Actually, on Wednesday the match was played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Guwahati. Two England players were seen playing in this match, which includes Jonny Bairstow and Sam Curran. However, both of them are now going to return to their country. Karan himself has given this information. Seeing the unavailability of England players, Irfan got very angry at them and scolded them a lot. The former Indian legend took to social media platform X to express his opinion on this matter.

“Either be available for the entire season or don’t come,” he wrote. Pathan simply says that if you want to play IPL, you should be available for the entire season. If they cannot do this then they should not come to play.

Let us tell you that the England team has to play a 4-match T20I series against Pakistan just before the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. This series will start from May 22 and that is why the England Cricket Board (ECB) has called back its players even before the end of the IPL. However, players from other teams will be available till the end and will be seen playing the entire season.

Currently, the league stage matches of IPL 2024 are being played and it will end on Sunday, May 19. After this the playoff matches will start. The first qualifier match will be played on 21 May in Ahmedabad. The eliminator match will be played on this ground on 22 May. So the second qualifier will be played on 24th May and the final match will be played on 26th May in Chennai.
