According to the report, Brewis is fully fit and will be available for selection in the team’s fourth match. Brewis was added by CSK as a replacement player in IPL 2025, but he suffered a setback at the beginning of this season. He was injured during practice in Guwahati before the first match against Rajasthan Royals on 30 March, due to which he could not play the first three matches.

Chennai has lost all three matches
This season has been disappointing so far for Chennai Super Kings. The team has lost its first three matches and the performance of the middle order was weak. In such a situation, the return of Brevis could prove to be a great strength for the team. It is expected that he will bat at number 4 and try to provide stability to the team.

Dhoni can also play in the next match
On the other hand, there is also good news regarding the return of Chennai Super Kings’ most experienced player MS Dhoni. According to the information, Dhoni recently gave a fitness test and will undergo another test soon. If everything goes well, he could take the field in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 14 April.

In Dhoni’s absence, CSK gave Sanju Samson a chance as wicketkeeper-batsman but he has not been able to take advantage of this opportunity yet. In the first match, Samson scored only 6 runs against Rajasthan Royals while he could score only 7 runs against Punjab Kings. Apart from this, even while chasing a big target (251 runs) against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Samson was out early after scoring just 9 runs. Due to this poor performance, the team clearly lacked a strong finisher and experienced player.

Now with the return of Brevis and possible entry of Dhoni, CSK team can be seen in balance. Fans are hopeful that after these changes the team will return to the winning track.
