The Chennai Super Kings take on the Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 22 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on April 14.

The Super Kings come into this clash after finally getting their 2026 campaign underway with a victory. They put on a complete performance against Delhi Capitals in their 23-run win at home in the previous game.

English all-rounder Jamie Overton finished with figures of 4/18, picking up key wickets which broke the back of the DC's innings. They will be looking to carry this momentum forward when the Kolkata Knight Riders come visiting.

Green’s bowling adds options to the team, allowing captain Ajinkya Rahane to rotate his bowlers wisely.

For Super Kings, Dewald Brevis made his much-awaited after recovering from a side strain. It is also reported that MS Dhoni will be available to play after missing the earlier games with a calf injury.
