Bangladeshi players remain in the headlines more because of their controversies than their sports. Something similar is being seen in the case of left arm spinner Nasum Ahmed. He alleged that the team did not get the money he should have received legally. But now Sylhet Titans has responded to his allegations. This answer is such that question marks have been raised on the honesty of the player.
Sylhet Titans has broken its silence on the sensational allegation of check bounce. Sylhet rejects Nasum Ahmed's allegations of check fraud. The team said that Nasum Ahmed's allegations are completely wrong, these are all lies. According to Sylhet Titans, 'Nasum had asked for money in cash and he demanded that the payment should not be done through the bank. We had issued a check to all the players at the beginning of the tournament which was to be returned after the players got the payment but Nasum has not done so yet. The payment was made in cash at Nasum's own request. According to reports, he had requested the franchisees that the payment should not be made through the bank,” said a report in BDCericTime.
Nasum Ahmed is a left arm spinner from Bangladesh who has been playing international cricket since 2021. He is considered a specialist white ball player. Nasum has played 20 ODI and 49 T20 International matches for Bangladesh. His economy rate in T20 is also 7.09 runs per over. Talking about ODI, Nasum has maintained an excellent economy rate of 4.34 and has 21 wickets in his name in the 50 over format. In the last season of Bangladesh Premier League, this player was seen bowling at an economy rate of just 5.98. He has taken 66 wickets so far in this tournament. But now this player is in the headlines because of allegations of dishonesty instead of his game.
