Lucknow: The performance of Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 has been disappointing. This season has been one to forget for the last-time runners-up but some of their players have performed well. Captain Shubhman Gill and Sai Sudarshan played well with the bat but the team could not reach the playoffs. Gujarat's last match was to be played against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, which was canceled due to rain. With this, this season's GT campaign has ended.

After the end of Gujarat's campaign in IPL 2024, Captain Gill appeared disappointed and he expressed it in his own words. In fact, after the cancellation of the match against Hyderabad, Gill expressed his disappointment on social media platform X and said that he could not perform as well as expected this season. Gujarat played a total of 14 matches this season, in which they won 5 matches and finished their entire campaign with 12 points. After this, Gill has given a big reaction on this season.

He wrote, “This year didn't end the way we expected but it has been a season full of learning and some great memories. I have been a part of this beautiful family for three years and it has been a journey I will never forget. I want to thank all the fans who supported us through difficult times and showed us love.”

Gujarat had performed well in the last two seasons and became champions in 2022, while they were runners-up in 2023. However, this season they could not perform well and are at the bottom of the points table. Gill and Sudarshan have emerged as positives for Gujarat this season.

Shubman Gill's performance in IPL 2024

Shubman scored 426 runs in 12 matches this season with an average of 38.73 and strike rate of 147.4. During this period, he has scored one century and two half-centuries, while his best score has been 104 runs. If we talk about Sudarshan, he has scored 527 runs at an average of 47.91 and strike rate of 141.29. During this period, one century and two half-centuries have come from his bat.
