Vinod Kambli, Health Update: Vinod Kambli, former Indian cricketer and childhood friend of Sachin Tendulkar, has still not fully recovered. One of his friends has revealed that he is at risk of brain stroke. Vinod Kambli's footsteps in Indian cricket were also similar to those of Sachin. Both friends had traveled to Team India playing cricket together since school. But, the name and fame received at the international level had different effects on Kambli and Sachin. Sachin went far ahead in the gentleman game of cricket but Vinod Kambli's car stopped much before him. Now Vinod Kambli's health has been deteriorating for the last few years. The concern of Kambli's fans has once again increased due to the revelations made by his friend.
Vinod Kambli's friend Marcus Couto told in an interview to Hindustan Times that a blood clot has formed in Kambli's brain, which cannot be removed now because he did not take precautions in time. The doctor has said that he may have a brain stroke. Marcus Couto told that he has created a WhatsApp group of Kambli's friends, most of whom are cricketers and who help him a lot financially. His memory is not good, but there has been no deterioration in it in the last 6 months.
The friend told that the doctor treating Vinod Kambli is famous neurosurgeon Adil Chagla, who is also a former cricketer. According to him, now the next stage could be brain stroke.
Vinod Kambli was admitted to the hospital in December 2024 due to deteriorating health. Then he had urinary infection. Many big names from the world of cricket had come forward to support Vinod Kambli, who was struggling with health as well as financial crisis.
Last year, a video of Vinod Kambli went viral, in which he was seen meeting with his childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar. That video was of the inauguration of the memorial of Kambli and Ramakant Achrekar, who was Sachin's coach.
