A video of 55-year-old Saeed Anwar has surfaced on the internet, in which he is blaming women for the increasing divorce cases in Pakistan. He says that ever since Pakistani women have started desiring money themselves, they are no longer respecting men. Saeed says,

“I am coming back from traveling all over the world. Right now I am coming from Australia and also went to Europe. Youngsters are crying, husbands and wives are fighting in their homes. The situation has become so bad that they have put girls to work. The Mayor of Australia had called me to meet. I asked him why do you have depression and drugs, why is there suicide? I also spoke to former Australian cricketer Shaun Tait and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, they ask me how will our situation be corrected?

He further said, “The Australian mayor told me that ever since we put women to work, our culture has been ruined. Our conditions have worsened and women are also earning. In Pakistan too, ever since women started earning, divorces have increased by 30 percent in three years. She says, 'You go away, I can earn and run the house myself.' ,

Terming this as a conspiracy, Saeed Anwar further said, “This is the entire game plan, my friends, unless you get instructions, you cannot understand this game plan. You are blind in one eye and have a snake in one hand and a rope in the other. You are saying, Sir, where is the snake, it looks similar to me. We will know only when the group opens up.”
