Gujarat Titans (GT) will be hosting the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match No. 25 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, April 17.
The Titans started their campaign with back-to-back defeats. However, they have bounced back commendably, winning their last two matches. The Knight Riders, on the other hand, are the only team which has not won a game as yet in IPL 2026.
The Ajinkya Rahane-led side has four defeats from five games. They have earned only one point so far, and it came after their game against the Punjab Kings was washed out. In their most recent clash, they lost to the Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium by 32 runs. The three-time champions have to start winning soon, as there is very little room for error following their dismal start.
Here is KKR’s strongest predicted XI vs GT, Match 25, IPL 2026: Top Order: Finn Allen, Sunil Narine, Ajinkya Rahane (C)

Finn Allen and Sunil Narine opened the batting in the last game. However, the Kiwi batter floundered once again. Narine did hit a few boundaries inside the power play but couldn't capitalise on his start. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane dropped down to No. 3 in the last game and scored a 22-ball 28. He is averaging 38 and has a strike rate of 149.02 this season.
Middle Order: Angkrish Raghuvanshi (WK), Rinku Singh, Cameron Green, Rovman Powell, Ramandeep Singh

Angkrish Raghuvanshi's numbers are quite impressive this season. He has scored 182 runs in five games at an average of 45.50 and a strike rate of 155.56. However, the youngster would want to contribute to his team's maiden win in IPL 2026. Rinku Singh has also been a pale shadow of his former self. The southpaw is averaging 26 at a strike rate of 120 in four innings.
Talking about Cameron Green, the Australian all-rounder registered a golden duck in the last game and gave away 30 runs in two overs with the ball. He has not been having a great season, and maybe the pressure of the price tag could be getting to him. Rovman Powell has looked in much better form with the bat than Cameron Green. In two games, he has scored 70 runs at a strike rate of 152.18. Ramandeep Singh wasn't doing great as well, but after hitting a few boundaries in the back end of the last game, he would have gained at least a bit of confidence.
Bowlers: Anukul Roy, Varun Chakaravarthy, Kartik Tyagi

Anukul Roy has done a decent job with the ball. He has four wickets in four innings at an average of 21 and an economy rate of 8.26. However, he hasn't been able to provide much with the bat. Varun Chakaravarthy had a poor start to the season. He missed a couple of games due to an injury, but returned to action against the Chennai Super Kings and looked much better with the ball. Kartik Tyagi has been the most impressive seamer for KKR this season. In the last game, he bowled four yorkers in the last over against Chennai. He has five wickets to his name from four innings.
