Cameron Green’s Classy Fifty Leads KKR Revival vs Gujarat Titans

A solid knock from Cameron Green has revived KKR’s revival during the IPL 2026 game against the Gujarat Titans, played on April 17 at Ahmedabad.

He went on to slam his first fifty in the ongoing season, after some underpar performance in the first five games.

After being invited to bat first, Ajinkya Rahane and Tim Seifert opened the innings while Mohammed Siraj opened the bowling attack.

Siraj bagged the wicket of KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane for a golden duck. The batter completely misses out with the timing, and the ball was up in the long-on, where Kagiso Rabada makes a safe catch.

Kagiso Rabada bagged his first wicket dismissing Angkrish Raghuvanshi for 8 runs. Raghuvanshi poked the ball and the outside edge has been taken by Jos Buttler behind the wickets.

He bagged his second wicket dismissing Tim Seifert for 19 runs. The wk-batter punched the ball towards point and Glenn Phillips took a catch inside the circle. With losing three wickets Kolkata Knight Riders scored only 37 runs in the powerplay.

However, Cameron Green and Rovman Powell are aiming to stitch a partnership to revive the innings after early dismissals. Ashok Sharma broke through the partnership dismissing Rovman Powell for 27 runs.

On the other hand, Cameron Green and Anukul Roy are aiming to build a partnership as the side cross 100 run mark.

However, Green went on to carnage mode smash his first fifty and went on to slaughter the Gujarat Titans bowlers.

Prasidh Krishna broke the 60-run partnership dismissing Anukul Roy for 9 runs. on the other hand, Kagiso Rabada bagged his third wicket dismissing Rinku Singh.
