Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a thrilling 10-run victory over Chennai Super Kingsin Match No. 27 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
Batting first, SRH posted a strong total of 194/9 in their 20 overs, thanks largely to explosive knocks from Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen. Abhishek set the tone with a blistering 59 off just 22 balls, smashing six fours and four sixes at a staggering strike rate of 268.18. Klaasen then anchored the innings with a well-crafted 59 off 39 balls, ensuring SRH maintained momentum despite losing wickets at regular intervals.
For CSK, Jamie Overton and Anshul Kamboj picked up three wickets each to keep the hosts from running away with the game.In reply, CSK fought hard but fell short at 184/8 in their 20 overs.
