Delhi: Former Indian team fast bowler Varun Aaron believes that when Chennai Super Kings (CSK) face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 'knockout' match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) in Bengaluru on Saturday, Great wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni can bat very well and can single-handedly lead CSK to victory. There are speculations that Dhoni may play his last IPL match on May 18. CSK will face RCB in their last league match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Both teams will compete for a place in the IPL 2024 playoffs.

Speaking to Star Sports, 34-year-old Varun Aaron said, “I feel that there is going to be an MS show in this match, because he likes Chinnaswamy Stadium very much.”

For information, let us tell you that the former CSK captain has scored 376 runs in 9 matches against RCB in Chinnaswamy at an average of 125.33 and strike rate of 184.31. Varun further said, “He has played some brilliant innings there. I remember that against Umesh Yadav, he played some good innings even after falling behind by one run in the last over. I can never forget that he scored 20-21 runs in the last over alone, so MS Dhoni is really very dangerous at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.”

The former right-arm pacer said, “Given his explosive performance this season and the importance of the upcoming match, it is difficult to rule out the possibility of Dhoni making headlines once again. If he gets a chance, he can take his CSK to the playoffs in a great style.”
