Shehroz Kashif shared a video on her official Instagram handle. He claimed that he had come in contact with an Indian citizen in Nepal in 2022, which helped him establish contact with Kohli.

He wrote, “I was in Nepal in 2022, when a stranger, originally from India (OFC will not reveal his name so that he does not get into trouble for political reasons), praised my work. He said that he had connections with the cricket team, so I jokingly expressed my desire to talk to Virat Kohli. I was surprised when he sent a message to Kohli on my behalf and being a Pakistani, I am proud to consider Kohli the greatest batsman of this era.”

In the video, Kohli was heard saying:

“Greetings to my family and all my friends. Hopefully we will go to Pakistan soon, everyone has started touring now.”

Will Team India tour Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy?

ICC will host the Champions Trophy 2025. Now in such a situation the question arises whether the Indian team will tour there or not. Recall that Asia Cup 2023 was also to be hosted entirely by Pakistan, but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to send the team to the neighboring country and instead played its matches in Sri Lanka.

India last toured Pakistan in 2008 and the terrorist attacks in Mumbai later that year soured cricket relations between the two countries.
