A solid century from Sai Sudharsan guided the Gujarat Titans to post 205 runs in the IPL 2026 game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

His century off 57 deliveries has set up the Gujarat Titans to post a fight total at Bengaluru.

After being invited to bat first, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill opened the innings while Bhuvneshwar Kumar opened the bowling attack.

Despite a slow start, the duo posted 57 runs in the power play. However, Sai Sudharsan went on to post his fifty in the 8th over and went on to aggressive mode accerelating his innings.

In the 10th over, Gujarat Titans crossed the 100-run mark for no loss. Sai Sudharsan also achieved a major feat becoming the fastest to reach 2000 IPL runs.

The duo made a 128 run partnership for the first wicket. Suyash Sharma gave the necessary breakthrough dismissing Shubman Gill for 32 runs. He got dismissed on a googly where Gill doesn’t get the timing right as Padikkal took the catch at deep.

His century came off in 57 deliveries which included 11 fours and 5 sixes.

However, he got dismissed by Josh Hazlewood in a short and quick ball which the batter mistimed for a pull as the ball flies straight to Hazlewood.

Buttler scored 25 runs off 16 deliveries before being dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The wicketkeeper batter tried to play a reverse scoop where the ball went straight to Josh Hazlewood at short third man.

With Washington Sundar and Jason Holder at crease, RCB reduced the run flow in the death overs. Suyash Sharma who is set to bowl the final over got injured and went back to dug out.

Krunal Pandya who delivered the first ball, got a groin injury before delivering the third ball. However, he went on to delivery the final over where Jason Holder dealt with fours and sixes. By the end of 20 overs, Gujarat Titans went on to score 205 runs.
