IPL 2026 DC vs RCB Playing 11: Axar Patel-led Delhi Capitals will square off against Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 39th match of the IPL 2026 on April 27 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru has been in fine form in the ongoing IPL season, securing 5 wins out of 7 games. Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals had a mixed campaign, having three wins out of seven games.

With the Royal Challengers Bengaluru securing 2nd position, the Delhi Capitals secured seventh position in the IPL 2026 points table.

Both have faced each other on 34 times, where RCB have won on 20 occasions while, DC have 13 wins and one game ended with no result.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, RCB captain Rajat Patidar said, “We will bowl first. This venue is a high-scoring ground, it will not make much difference, we will try to put them under pressure in the second innings.”

“The most important thing is different players coming up and deliverying in different matches. We have played some good cricket and continue to carry that momentum.

It is in the past, we are looking to play good cricket,” concluded Rajat Patidar.

Meanwhile, DC captain Axar Patel said, “I would have fielded if I won the toss. The ground dimensions are small, the pitch also gets better, so we would have chased as well.”

“In the IPL, you score 264 and loss, but it is a long tournament is long, we had a good game with bat and ball, if we had held our chances then the result would be different.”

“You need to keep continuing doing the work, even our best fielders drop catches, so luck is not on our side but we can sit around thinking about it.

We have two fast bowlers – Chameera and Jamieson are playing,” concluded Axar Patel.
