Afghanistan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai, playing for Punjab Kings in IPL 2026, lost his mother. His mother died on Monday. Omarzai's mother was ill for a long time. The news of his mother's demise was given by his fellow players. Former Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi and all-rounder Karim Janat gave this sad news on social media. Punjab Kings have also expressed condolences with Omarzai and this team tweeted that they are with this player at this difficult time.

Mohammad Nabi posted on X on Monday that Azmatullah Omarzai has lost his mother.

Omarzai has not got a chance
