Sri Lanka Cricket has announced that the Sri Lankanational cricket team will tour West Indies in June and July 2026 for a full bilateral series comprising three ODIs, three T20Is, and two Test matches.
The tour will begin with the ODI series, all of which are scheduled to be played at Sabina Park on June 3, 6, and 8. The T20I leg will follow at the same venue on June 11, 13, and 14. Sri Lanka will then play a four-day warm-up match from June 18 to 21 at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.
The Test series will take place at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, with the first Test scheduled from June 25 to 29 and the second from July 3 to 7, marking the conclusion of the tour.
Sri Lanka were last seen in action at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, where they were eliminated in the Super Eight stage. They registered group-stage wins over Ireland, Oman, and Australia, but suffered a loss to Zimbabwe. However, they failed to secure a win in the Super Eight round, leading to their exit.
In the lead-up to the tournament, Sri Lanka endured a tough series against the England national cricket team, where they were whitewashed in three T20Is. Despite entering the World Cup with renewed hope, they could not progress further.
The team has since undergone significant changes, with Sanath Jayasuriya stepping down following the World Cup campaign. Gary Kirsten has been appointed with an eye on the 2027 World Cup, while Dasun Shanaka continues to lead the side. Sri Lanka will look to build a balanced combination ahead of the upcoming series, before travelling to England for white-ball assignments.
