In IPL 2026, some bowlers are continuously leaving a mark with their performance while some are still struggling. On one hand, Mumbai Indians' Jasprit Bumrah, one of the most lethal bowlers in the world, is struggling to find his rhythm. Many other bowlers have gone far ahead of him. One of them is Gujarat Titans all-rounder Jason Holder, who has taken more wickets than Bumrah in just one match. He did this feat against Punjab Kings.
Jason Holder completely dominated the match between Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium.
In this match, Punjab was batting first, which was destroyed by Mohammad Siraj and Kagiso Rabada within the powerplay. After this, Holder took charge and destroyed Punjab's middle order with his tight line-length, in which the biggest victim was Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer.In this innings, Holder came to bowl for the first time in the 7th over and took the first victim in just 3 balls. He first sent Nehal Vadhera back to the pavilion and then gave the biggest blow to Punjab in his next over.
Captain Iyer was bowled in the second over of Holder. After this, in the 18th over, Holder also dismissed Marcus Stoinis, who had scored 40 runs quickly. On the very next ball of the same over, he clean bowled Xavier Bartlett.Tall pacer Jason Holder could not complete his hat-trick but in the spell of 4 overs he spent only 24 runs and took maximum 4 wickets. This performance of Holder was also very impressive as he left Jasprit Bumrah behind in just 4 overs. Veteran pacer Bumrah is continuously struggling this season and has taken only 3 wickets in his account in 9 matches. Not only this, Holder has played only 4 matches so far and has taken 7 wickets in his name.
