Delhi: The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will start from June 2 Indian time. This major tournament will be played in the United States of America (USA) and West Indies. The Indian team will start its campaign with a high voltage match against Pakistan on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Both the teams will be seen fighting each other for the first time in America. This match will be played from 8:00 pm Indian time. Rohit Sharma will take command of the Indian team. At the same time, Babar Azam will captain the Pakistan team.

Earlier, Team India's former veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has made a big prediction regarding the India vs Pakistan match. Bhajji believes that India has a much better team than Pakistan for the tournament and said that Team India should not have much trouble in defeating its arch-rival.

43-year-old Harbhajan Singh said in an interview, “I am sure we will win against Pakistan. “Our track record against them is very good and our team is also better.”

The teams of India and Pakistan have clashed 7 times so far in the history of T20 World Cup, where India has lost only once. In the 2021 T20 World Cup, Pakistan defeated Team India by 10 wickets.
