Sports Desk. In the last league match of the Indian Premier League 2026 played at the historic Eden Gardens Stadium, Delhi Capitals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 40 runs. In the match, Delhi Capitals scored 203 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.

In reply, KKR was all out after scoring 163 runs in 18.3 overs.

In the match, Delhi Capitals’ star batsman KL Rahul has registered a big achievement in his name, which till date no batsman in the world had been able to achieve in the history of IPL.

KL Rahul, who came to open for Delhi Capitals, scored 60 runs in just 30 balls against KKR. In this innings he hit 5 fours and 4 brilliant sixes. With these four sixes, he took his number of sixes in this edition of IPL to 31.

With this, he has become the first batsman in IPL history to hit 30 or more sixes in a season for three different teams. KL Rahul has earlier achieved this feat in the IPL for Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants.

Gayle and Maxwell left behind

Whereas former great West Indies batsman Chris Gayle had hit more than 30 sixes for RCB and Punjab Kings. Glenn Maxwell also did such a feat for RCB and Punjab. Now Indian cricketer KL Rahul has become the first batsman in the world to do so for three different IPL teams.
