Initial investigation has revealed that the woman had married a boy of her choice about three months ago. It was a love marriage. The victim's family alleges that just a month after the marriage, her husband and in-laws started pressurizing her for gold and cash. She says that she was constantly being mentally harassed due to these dowry demands. She was living under a lot of stress for the last several weeks.
