With these 4 sixes, he broke Chris Gayle's record. The record is for hitting more than 30 sixes in a single IPL season for the most different franchises.

KL Rahul has previously been a part of the Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants before joining the Delhi Capitals in the IPL. He has now hit more than 30 sixes in an IPL season for all three of these teams. With this, KL Rahul has become the first player in IPL history to achieve this feat. Chris Gayle and Glenn Maxwell have hit more than 30 sixes in a season for two IPL teams each.
