Hospice: In the playoff match of IPL 2026, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) performed brilliantly and secured their place in the finals. In the first qualifier match played at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by a huge margin of 92 runs.

After winning the toss, Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill decided to bowl first, which proved to be wrong for the team. RCB batsmen rained fours and sixes on the field and scored a huge score of 254 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Chasing the target of 255 runs for victory, the Gujarat Titans team could not stand against the RCB bowlers and the entire team was reduced to just 162 runs in 19.3 overs. This win has been recorded as the second biggest win by margin of runs in the history of IPL playoffs. After this defeat, now Gujarat Titans will have to play Qualifier-2 match to remain in the race for the finals.
