Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated the Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets in the IPL 2026 final to clinch their second consecutive title. Chasing 156, the defending champions completed the task in 18 overs, with Virat Kohli leading the batting charge. He scored 75 not out in 42 balls, with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes. Venkatesh Iyer provided an attacking start to the franchise and added 62 runs with Kohli in 4.3 overs.
Iyer amassed 32 runs off 16 balls, laced with 4 fours and 2 sixes, before Mohammed Siraj dismissed him.
