Chasing 156, the defending champions completed the task in 18 overs, with Virat Kohli leading the batting charge. He scored 75 not out in 42 balls, with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes. Venkatesh Iyer provided an attacking start to the franchise and added 62 runs with Kohli in 4.3 overs.
