Patidar’s journey for Team India has been very short. He played international cricket for the first time in ODI format in December 2023, where he opened against South Africa but could score only 22 runs in 16 balls. After this, in the Test series against England in 2024, Patidar got to play 3 Test matches but he failed in all three and could score only 63 runs in 6 innings. Since then he has not returned to the team.
