The NZC has unveiled the blockbuster New Zealand home schedule 2026, which is headlined by India’s all-format tour.
The Kiwis (men’s and Women’s) are set for an exciting, action-packed series of high-profile international fixtures for both sides. Out of fixtures, New Zealand is set to host India on a multi-format tour, which includes five T20Is, five ODIs, and two Test matches.
This tour is set to become the largest international tour in the history of New Zealand cricket in terms of the total number of matches.
The tour will be the first time since 2019, as India is set to play test cricket in New Zealand, while the first white-ball assignment in the country since 2022.
Following the home tour against India, New Zealand’s men’s team will be hosting Sri Lanka in an all-format series, which is set to begin on January 16, featuring three T20Is, three ODIs and two test matches.
Meanwhile, the New Zealand women’s team are currently in England aiming to defend their T20 World Cup title. They will be hosting Bangladesh for a six-match limited-over series from December 10 – 23, comprising three T20Is and three ODIs.
The team had been scheduled to tour Australia in February-March 2027, but those plans have been postponed following the rescheduling of the Women’s Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka to February 2027.
