Delhi: The one-off Test between India and Afghanistan will be played from Saturday, June 6. This match will be held at Maharaj Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur. Before this, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has selected his Indian playing-11 for the test match against Afghanistan. He has not given place to Dhruv Jurel and Devdutt Padikkal in his team.

Sudarshan was placed at number three

While talking on his YouTube channel, Akash said that the Indian team has made a lot of changes at number three in the recent past. The team first gave a chance to Sudarshan, then Karun Nair, then Sudarshan and later Washington Sundar. At the same time, Sudarshan was removed from the team and Devdutt Padikkal was also included. During this time, while choosing his team, Akash advised India that it should give Sudarshan a chance at number three for a long time.

Whereas Akash chose Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul as openers. Which is natural. Both of them have been performing brilliantly for the team as openers for a long time.

Akash chose these players in the middle order

Akash completely ignored Jurel. Whereas Jurel was a part of Team India’s playing in the last test match. Akash placed captain Shubman Gill at number four in the middle order. Gill’s performance at number four has been excellent. Apart from this, Akash kept Rishabh Pant as wicketkeeper at number five. Akash talked about playing Washington Sundar at number six and Nitish Kumar Reddy at number seven in his team.

Akash chose his bowlers

Akash believes that one of Harsh Dubey, Manav Suthar and Gurnoor Brar is sure to debut in the match against Afghanistan. Akash believes that the Indian team will either play three spinners or go with three fast bowlers. He believes that it will completely depend on the pitch, depending on the pitch, the team will be selected. According to Akash, it is absolutely certain that Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj will play.
