Before the main tournament of T20 World Cup 2024, Team India will play only one warm-up match, which will be played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. The new stadium is ready to host the ICC tournament. This ground was inaugurated recently. Here on June 9, the first international match will be played between India and Pakistan, which will start at 8.30 pm Indian time. In view of this, India will have a great opportunity to prepare for this match.
In such a situation, the question arises whether ICC has helped Team India to defeat Pakistan. The answer is absolutely not. This decision has been taken so that the blue jersey team can avoid traveling too much. The seating capacity of this stadium is 34,000 spectators.
During the 16 practice matches, fans can go to the ground and watch only 2 matches. The good thing is that the match between India and Bangladesh at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium will be open for fans.
Meanwhile, in West Indies also a match can be enjoyed by going to the ground. Additionally, supporters will not be able to attend all practice matches. Tickets for the India-Bangladesh match can be purchased from May 23.
