TCA alleges that this league is being promoted without the official approval of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The notice issued by the TCA states that the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is allegedly carrying out business activities with corporate entities without the permission of the BCCI. The association claims that promoting the TG20 league without the approval of BCCI could be a violation of the rules and raises questions on the transparency of cricket administration.

The association has also raised concerns over the endorsement of the league by celebrities and players. However, till now there has been no public response from actors Vijay Deverakonda and Venkatesh in this matter.
