Women’s T20WC 2026 NZ-W vs IRE-W Playing 11: Amelai Kerr-led New Zealand will square off against Gaby Lewis-led Ireland Women in the 13th match of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 on June 20 at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.

Both Ireland and New Zealand suffered back to back defeats in the ongoing T20 World Cup campaign.

The Blackcaps suffered a 7-wicket defeat against West Indies and a 5-wicket victory against Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Ireland Women suffered a 40-run defeat against Scotland and 4-wicket defeat against England Women.

They are reeling in the bottom of the Group B in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 points table and need to win remaining of the games if they need to qualify for the playoffs.

Ireland women won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, Gaby Lewis said, “We will bowl first. Its a new wicket and we would like to chase. Plenty of positives to take from the last game.”
