Delhi: The Indian team has suffered a big setback before the England tour. Team’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the ODI series against England due to injury. According to the report of Sports, Hardik could not pass his fitness test at BCCI’s Center of Excellence.

Hardik had a back injury during the IPL.

Due to which he was out of many matches of the tournament. After this, he was going to return in the ODI series against Afghanistan after passing the fitness test. But he suffered a quadriceps (thigh) strain. Because of which he could not participate in the series.

It was expected that Hardik would become fit before the England tour and would return to the field for the Indian team. But Hardik failed to bowl 10 overs during the fitness test. After which it is believed that he will not be seen playing in the ODI series against England.

The Indian team will play ODI with England after the T20 series.

A three-match series is to be played between the two teams. Whose first match will be held in Edgbaston on 14th July. After this, the match between the two will be played in Cardiff on 16th July. Whereas the third and final match of the series will be held on July 19 at Lord’s, the historic ground of England.
