New Delhi :Young Indian opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi has created havoc with his explosive batting in the high-voltage final of the Tri-Nation series against Sri Lanka A. After the Super Over in the last match, Vaibhav took revenge for the heated clash with the Sri Lankan players with the bat in this title match. This young batsman came on the field and thrashed the Sri Lankan bowlers and completed his half-century in just 11 balls.
Vaibhav batted brilliantly
This sequence of brilliant batting started in the third over of the innings when Mohammad Shiraz came to bowl. In this over, Vaibhav scored a total of 26 runs, spoiling the line-length of Shiraz. On the first ball of the over, he hit a pull shot towards deep mid-wicket and hit a four. After this, he created panic in the Sri Lankan camp by hitting two consecutive sixes on the next two balls. One of which was a brilliant hook shot down the leg side and the other was a brilliant shot over deep extra cover. After the fourth ball was dot, he again hit a six over extra cover on the fifth ball and finished the over with a powerful four to the right of mid-off on the last ball.
Hit 10 boundaries in the first 11 balls.
Let us tell you that in the fourth over, Dulaj Samudita came to bowl, but Vaibhav became more aggressive. After hitting deep extra cover and a boundary on the third ball, Vaibhav hit a straight long six over the bowler’s head on the fourth ball to reach 44 runs in 10 balls. Then on the fifth ball, Samudita tried to bowl a slow ball, but Jame Vaibhav used all his strength on the crease and completed his historic fifty in just 11 balls by hitting a six over the long-on boundary. Just after the half century, he put Sri Lanka completely on the backfoot by hitting a four over deep backward point on the last ball of the over. In this way, Vaibhav hit 10 boundaries on his first 11 balls, which included 5 fours and 5 sixes.
