The knockout stage (Round of 32) of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026 will begin on Monday, India time (June 29) with South Africa facing co-hosts Canada in Los Angeles, USA.

As of Friday (June 26), 28 teams have qualified for the knockout phase of the World Cup. The remaining four sides will be confirmed on Saturday.

In the 48-side tournament, the top two teams in each group and the eight best third-placed teams advance to the knockout stage.
