The BCB physio, Bayzedul Islam, has provided a major update on Litton Das ahead of the ODI series in the Bangladesh tour of Zimbabwe 2026.

According to the physio, the veteran batter will miss the first ODI against Zimbabwe due to a calf injury. However, he has been picked in the ODI squad for Zimbabwe.

According to reports, Litton Das has almost recovered from his Grade 1 injury and will be missing the first game of the series.

Speaking on Das’ recovery, Bangladesh team physio Islam Khan said, “Litton Das is suffering from an injury in his left calf muscle. It’s a Grade I injury. It usually takes two to three weeks to recover from an injury like that. Two weeks have already passed.

“We are expecting him to recover by the end of the third week. The possibility of him playing in the first ODI is almost nil, but he should be able to play in the second and third ODIs if he can meet all the parameters of our fitness test,” concluded Islam Khan.
