Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry was retired hurt in its Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 semifinal against West Indies on June 30.

Perry walked off the field ahead of the eighth over of Australia’s batting innings, with Ashleigh Gardner taking her place. She was batting on two from seven balls.

According to an update from Cricket Australia, “Perry’s gone off with quad awareness and is being assessed. She can come back if we need.”

Australia is currently chasing 126 to become the first team to seal a spot in the final on Sunday.
